These words may introduce this term but, is it sufficient
enough to vindicate this enormous term “Wellness”?
According to The World Health Organization Wellness is a
state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the
absence of disease or infirmity.
Being well is a vigorous process and is more than being free
from maladies. One could recover and get better after illness but it is
virtually impossible to be free from illness. Adopting healthy habits can add
value to your wellness as well, but this is not all about it, Wellness is
somewhat more than that.
Wellness affects you, in each possible dimension, you can
ever think about it. In the holistic approach, it includes emotional wellness, environmental wellness,
physical wellness, intellectual wellness,
financial wellness, occupational wellness, spiritual wellness, and social wellness and so
forth.
Although every dimension is important and has its own era
and impact on our lives few are predominantly accountable. These are Emotional, Physical,
and Spiritual Wellness.
The reason behind saying them “Predominantly Accountable” is
that if one who is cognizant enough at these porticos, can work on the rest of the
dimensions to robust them as well. These extents are so interconnected that any
vibe creates a rippling effect on its surroundings.
One could be defined
as an Emotionally Healthy if the person
- Always have a Reason to Smile
- Feel Alive despite hitches
- Discover something Positive in routine life
- Accept and learn from mistakes
- Can Balance other dimensions of Wellness
- Agile enough with balanced power and speed.
- Make good Coordination in between your strengths and flexibility.
- Response the day to day life challenges spontaneously and accurately and his Cardiovascular and Muscular system support him enough in daily activities such as gardening and washing your car, etc...
- Thought process impacts on emotions, feelings and associated behaviors.
- Clear about the purpose in life and a sense of coherence.
- Have a feeling of satisfaction.
Wellness is nothing but the dynamic state of emotional, physical, and spiritual intelligence, which stimulate you and empower you to keep growing in diverse extents such as environmental, intellectual, financial, occupational, and social, etc...
